Highlights from last year...
included star quality performances by the likes of
"Kidd Beat Box" who portrayed the Ghost of Christmas Present.  According to the critics, it was a "role he was born to play!"  A Hip Hop artist extrordinaire, with the ability to transcend genres - "The Kid" captivated audiences every night with his good humor and memorable booming laugh.

  The Cratc
hit family was comprised of local actors - three of whom actually were related.  Charming and heart-warming scenes depict the Cratchits in prayer, celebrating a simple Christmas dinner, and enjoying the love of family.  Actors shown are: Emily Groth, Amanda Gresch, Katie Jenkins, David Marolla, and Dominic Zappia.

Scrooge was portrayed by theatre veteran Dan Robertson of West Bend.  Robertson was not only a favorite with the audience, but with cast members.  He developed a rapport and respect from each actor.

The part of Scrooge requires him to be on stage for 25 of 26 scenes during each performance.  Exhausting for an actor of any age, but a true accomplishment for an actor of "a certain age."  Robertson coached younger actors, and often entertained younger cast members during rehearsals just like his real-life role of Grandpa would.

Bailey Mahnke played
the part of Belle, younger Scrooge's fiancee'.  Additionally, she wore the title of production assistant.  She spent hours onstage and backstage during performances and rehearsals making sure the details such as props, make-up, and even box office were attended to.  Her performance as the ingenue, Belle is memoriable for it's sincerity and sweetness.

In the scene at left, Jack Bridich, as the first spirit (Ghost of Christmas Past) shows Scrooge the love he lost.  Kevin Aubery portrays the younger Scrooge at right, while Ebeneezer Scrooge observes this scene of his past.
